CELEBRATING 51 YEARS OF ACALANES WATER POLO

You can make a difference.  Money raised will be used to fund expenditures that support current and future players at all levels, with the priorities being player development, coach training and award recognition for athletic, academic and leadership achievements.  We strive to develop a quality water polo program that proudly serves the Acalanes water polo community, advancing the sport of water polo, and helping to develop top players into college prospects.

In addition, the Foundation will enhance and complement youth water polo in Lamorinda through superior training in a fun and competitive atmosphere while aiming to teach lessons in water polo that mirror important lessons in life.  We maintain that the character and educational development of our players is as important as their athletic abilities.  We aim to create a supportive environment for young women and men, while giving them tools for navigating life's challenges.  Through water polo we can gain an understanding of discipline, goal-setting, follow through and problem solving, while also being challenged to perform well under pressure, work well with different types of people, and to experience success and failure with class and grace.
